Volunteers Wanted

We are looking for volunteers to help in our sections. Please contact Cam our Group Scout Leader on gsl@21stromsey.co.uk if you can spare 1 / 2 hours a week giving back to our community helping our young people thrive.

Skills for Life

The 21st Romsey (Nursling & Rownhams) Scout Group exists to provide high-quality Scouting for girls and boys in the age range 4-17 years.

Welcome to 21st Romsey
Scout Group

The Group has been in existence in its present form since September 1963, although there have been Scouts in this area long before this. We are situated between the busy city of Southampton and the thriving town of Romsey, and attract young people from the local villages of Nursling and Rownhams as well as Lordshill, Maybush, North Baddesley and other surrounding areas.

Our aim is to promote the development of young people, so that they achieve their full potential. Scouting enables them to become responsible adults and members of their local, national and international communities.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
